Strawberry Cake and Avocado Buttercream

For a decadent and creamy dessert, try this strawberry cake with avocado buttercream. This recipe is a delicious and easy way to enjoy the flavors of strawberries and avocado without having to worry about calories or fat.

This cake is based off of the classic strawberry shortcake recipe. First, we make the batter in a baking dish by combining flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. We then add eggs, milk, and vegetable oil to help create a fluffy and moist cake. Finally, we add in 2 cups of chopped strawberries and stir them in until they are coated in the batter.

Once the cake is cooked through, we remove it from the oven and prepare the frosting. For this recipe, we use avocado as our main ingredient. We first mash up the avocado into a creamy consistency using a fork or an immersion blender. After that, we add melted butter to help bind everything together. Lastly, we mix in some fresh diced strawberries for extra flavor.

This strawberry cake with avocado buttercream is delicious as is or you can top it off with some whipped cream or frozen berries for an extra special treat!

Dutch Baby Pancakes in Hazelnut Honey Sauce and Salted Caramel Sauce

One of the best things about being a foodie is exploring new flavors and textures. AndDutch Baby pancakes are definitely one of the most unique and crave-worthy desserts around. These dense, fluffy pancakes are traditionally made with a yeasted batter and filled with either fruit or syrup, but ours are special because they’re served in two sauces: Hazelnut Honey Sauce and Salted Caramel Sauce.

Hazelnut Honey Sauce is a simple yet delicious mixture of hazelnut milk, honey, and vanilla that gives these pancakes an intense sweetness. The sauce is also incredibly smooth and luscious, making it perfect for drizzling on top of your pancakes.

Salted Caramel Sauce is our take on the classic caramel sauce, complete with a pinch of salt to add extra flavor.
